Tennessee quarterback Josh Dobbs’ Heisman candidacy took a hit after the Vols dramatically lost to Texas A&M on Saturday.
Odds for Dobbs capturing the most prestigious individual award in college football fell from 25/1 to 100/1 as Tennessee’s shot at 12-0 was erased. At the same time, Aggies quarterback Trevor Knight saw his stock improve after accounting for more than 300 total yards and 5 touchdowns in Week 6.
Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, whose Cardinals had a bye this week, still holds a commanding lead in this race with 1/2 odds. He’s followed by Clemson’ Deshaun Watson (9/4) and Ohio State’s JT Barrett (13/2).
