Two SEC teams were ranked in the latest edition of the Associated Press Top 25 with just one week remaining in the regular season.
Texas A&M led the way after moving up one spot to No. 20 in the poll. The Aggies have won four straight after sustaining a midseason swoon and seem to be back on track as the regular season approaches conclusion. Texas A&M has its sights set on the top seed in the SEC Tournament and could secure that with wins over Auburn and Vanderbilt this week.
Kentucky fell six spots to No. 22 in the poll after destroying Alabama and then losing to Vanderbilt last week. The Wildcats have split their last four games, but have won five of their last seven. They can earn the No. 1 seed in the SEC Tournament by beating Florida and LSU while receiving some help from either Auburn or Vandy.
