The NFL Draft is fast approaching, and 6 SEC prospects will attend the festivities in Philadelphia.
As released by NFL Media’s Chase Goodbread on Thursday, LSU safety Jamal Adams, Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen, Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett, LSU running back Leonard Fournette, Alabama offensive tackle Cam Robinson and LSU cornerback Tre’Davious White will be among the 22 prospects who will attend the NFL Draft as guests of the league. The event begins on April 27.
The post by Goodbread mentions that the prospects will participate “in pre-draft events and gathering in a green room to await their draft calls.” The green-room wait always is one of the most dramatic aspects of the first-round viewing experience. Fournette is expected to be one of the highest former SEC players taken. But it will be worth watching the Alabama prospects and others as well.

Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett, predicted by many to be the NFL Draft’s top selection, plans to watch the event from his home in Arlington, Texas.
