Myles Garrett was one of the best defensive players in the country in his time at Texas A&M. And LSU’s Arden Key, who figures to be the Garrett level star, gave the Texas A&M product a special shoutout.
In a message posted to his instagram account, Key praised Garrett as one of the best in the game. Key also posted a video showing off some of the similarities between the two SEC defensive standouts.
“Myles played with a lot of heart and it’s great to see his hardwork pay off for the upcoming draft,” Key wrote.
Looking back on the season, I know I've played with some of the best in the game. Myles played with a lot of heart and it's great to see his hardwork paying off for the upcoming draft. Wishing nothing but the best for the 2017 draft class. As for me, I'm ready to eat !!!!! Garrett figures to be a candidate to be the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft. Garrett racked up 8.5 sacks this season and 33.5 for his Texas A&M career.
Key, who figures to be a top 10 pick in next year’s NFL Draft will return to LSU for his junior season. The LSU standout bested Garrett’s production this season, as he finished with 12.0 sacks for the Tigers in two fewer games than Garrett.
