Mike Slive did a lot for the SEC during his time as commissioner from 2002-15, including the introduction of the SEC Network that has become regular viewing for fans across the country.
With his unfortunate passing on May 16, a lot of people have come forward with their best memories of Slive and all that was accomplished under his watch.
In Hoover, Ala., with Ole Miss and LSU facing each other in the championship game of the SEC Baseball Tournament, the conference honored the former commissioner with a special logo on the field.

The logo, in place of the regular conference logo, appears on the back of the mound.
