LSU takes lead in 4th quarter on fake FG TD
Les Miles caught the Florida Gators napping, again. Just like in 2010, The Mad Hatter devised another fake field goal in a pivotal spot for his Tigers. Unlike 2010, this fake field goal went for a touchdown.
The Tigers appeared content lining up for a 33-yard field goal to try and take a three-point lead in the fourth quarter. But Miles had other ideas. Holder Brad Kragthorpe fielded the snap, but instead of placing the ball for a kick, Kragthorpe threw the ball to kicker Trent Domingue, who scampered into the end zone untouched for a 16-yard score, giving LSU a 35-28 lead in the fourth quarter.
LSU’s special teams have had a brutal day overall, but it was a special teams play that changed the game. Check out the ridiculous play below:
