HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Mississippi State is trying to steal away one of Florida’s top commits.
Jeremiah Moon, a 4-star linebacker from Hoover (Ala.) High School, told SEC Country that the Bulldogs haven’t let off the gas when it comes to recruiting him.
“They are just telling me how I can fit into their program and how it’s close to home,” Moon told SEC Country. “I’m still interested in them. I wouldn’t want to close the door on anybody.”
Moon will take an official visit to Mississippi State in January. It’s the only school he mentioned as an official visit destination other than Florida.
He is ranked as the nation’s No. 19 outside linebacker and is the No. 6 overall recruit in the state of Alabama.
