It continues to look like it will be a Hotty Toddy party at the top of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Three Ole Miss players are projected to be top 10 picks in April, according to NFL draft expert Matt Miller’s three-round mock draft published Wednesday at Bleacher Report.
Miller projected offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to be picked second, defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche fourth and wide receiver Laquon Treadwell 10th. They were part of a 10-player contingent from the SEC in Miller’s first round.
Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III checked in at No. 5 as the fourth SEC player in the top 10. Other projected first-round picks included UGA linebacker Leonard Floyd (14th), Auburn offensive lineman Shon Coleman (23rd) and LSU offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins (25th).
It wouldn’t be a 2016 mock draft without several Alabama players. Linebacker Reggie Ragland (15th) and defensive linemen A’Shawn Robinson (21st) and Jarran Reed (27th) were all projected in the first round.
Miller had nine SEC players in the second round, including UGA linebacker Jordan Jenkins, Tennessee cornerback Cameron Sutton, Florida defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard, Alabama defensive lineman Jonathan Allen and Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry.
Nearly half of the third-round projection was SEC players. There were 13 in all, including Alabama’s Derrick Henry and O.J. Howard, Arkansas’ Alex Collins, South Carolina’s Pharoh Cooper and Missouri’s Kentrell Brothers.
