Morehead State graduate transfer Corban Collins has narrowed his choices to Alabama, Mississippi State and Central Florida, as reported by Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
The 6-foot-3, 190-pound point guard averaged 11 points per game for Morehead State during the 2015-16 season and led the team with 57 3-point field goals, earning Second Team All-OVC honors in the process.
Collins started his collegiate career at LSU, where he averaged 2.6 points per game as a true freshman before transferring after one season. He was a three-star recruit and the No. 30 point guard in the nation, according to 247 Sports’ Composite rankings.
Alabama could use the boost at point guard with Retin Obasohan graduating and Justin Coleman announcing he will transfer to Samford. Mississippi State has a little more stability at the position, with I.J. Ready entering his senior season in 2016.
