There’s another team bookies are now putting on equal footing with top-ranked Alabama.
On Sunday, the Crimson Tide and No. 2 Ohio State were both listed at 11/4 odds to win the 2016 College Football Playoff, the best of any team in the country. Alabama cruised to an easy 34-6 win over Kentucky, while the Buckeyes blanked Rutgers, 58-0.
Clemson, Washington, Louisville, Houston and Michigan comprise the next group of schools, with odds ranging from 13/2 down to 14/1, and they’re followed by a trio of SEC schools.
Texas A&M, Tennessee and Florida — all winners this weekend — round out the top 10 most likely national title winners. The Aggies and Vols meet in College Station for a giant clash in Week 6.
