Lyndell Wilson wasn’t in attendance for Florida’s marquee matchup against Tennessee as originally planned, but the 5-star linebacker has the Gators out in front.
The No. 1 outside linebacker in the country, Wilson, named Florida as his leader via Twitter on Wednesday. The Gators are followed behind by SEC powerhouses LSU, Ole Miss and Alabama.
The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder from Carver High School (Montgomery, Ala.) has yet to announce his official visits. His only trip of the fall was an unofficial visit to Alabama on Sept. 19.
Wilson is rated as the No. 13 player in the country.
