Can the SEC lure one of the elite cornerbacks in the Class of 2019 from the west coast?
Chris Steele, a 4-star prospect rated as the No. 3 CB and No. 76 overall recruit in the cycle, released a list of his top 15 choices via Twitter on Thursday evening.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound Steele, who committed to UCLA in late January, is considering four SEC teams in that bunch: Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt.
Thankful for everything…

His group of favorites is dominated by Pac-12 teams. Nearly half (7 of the 15) are from the conference.
Steele, who plays for St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Ca., got his most recent SEC offer from Vanderbilt on June 11. Meanwhile, LSU has a pledge from the No. 4 CB in the class, Maurice Hampton.
