There’s a 50-50 shot that the nation’s top junior college defensive end will be playing his college football in the Southeastern Conference next season.
Isaiah Buggs, a three-star prospect from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, announced through his Twitter account that Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Baylor, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas State and Miami are his top 10 schools.
Buggs’ recruitment has blown up over the past few weeks. Since National Signing Day, which was Feb. 3, the top junior college talent has picked up offers from eight schools. All of those schools made the cut, except Houston.
The 6-foot-4, 265-pounder played his high school ball in Louisiana, and he’s thought to be a strong lean to LSU at this time.
