Landon Dickerson is down to three schools, according to a source close to his recruitment.
Alabama, Florida State and Tennessee are the final schools in the running to land the 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive tackle from South Caldwell High School (Hudson, N.C.).
Dickerson took an official visit to Tennessee this weekend. Dickerson spoke highly of the visit, but that may not be enough for the Vols.
Head coach Butch Jones did not visit Dickerson last week, despite being allowed by NCAA rules. Dickerson was visited by head coaches from Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Florida State. Dickerson took official visits to all of those schools.
Florida State and Tennessee have long been thought to be the leaders for Dickerson. However, Alabama has made a strong push. Dickerson is the No. 4 rated offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 2 overall prospect in North Carolina.
