Three-star defensive end Sci Martin was not ready to sign his letter of intent on National Signing Day, and more than a week later, the New Orleans sack artist remains completely undecided as to where he’ll play college football next fall.
Martin, who was committed to TCU, reopened his recruitment close to signing day and named LSU, Alabama and TCU as his top three schools.
Eight days removed from signing day, Martin said the three schools are in a dead lock.
So, what forced him to delay his decision?
“Those visits,” Martin told SEC Country. “Being close to home and the tradition of the program (LSU). But also, I’m still feeling Alabama.”
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound Martin also said he is unsure of when he expects to make up his mind.
“I’m just trying to choose wisely,” Martin said, “but I don’t know (when).”
Martin is the nation’s No. 34 weak side defensive end, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
