On Monday, the Rebels earned a commitment from four-star receiver Tre Nixon.
Subsequently, Auburn will no longer host the Melbourne, Fla., native this weekend as originally planned. Nixon has cancelled his upcoming official visit to the Plains, he confirmed to SEC Country.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound senior from Viera High School was one of a handful of wide receivers the Tigers were courting along with notable four-stars Ahmmon Richards and Nate Craig-Myers.
Nixon was visited in-home by coach Gus Malzahn, offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee and special teams coordinator Scott Fountain last Monday.
