NFL legend Michael Irvin loses Auburn bet, wears LSU gear
Auburn’s 45-21 loss to LSU was certainly tough on its players, but they are not the only ones who lost something on Saturday.
NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin lost a bet on the game and had to wear LSU shorts to the gym. Irvin posted a picture during his workout on his Twitter account, and he does not look happy.
Irvin is the uncle of Auburn freshman defensive back Tim Irvin.
Michael Irvin was a star receiver at Miami, where he set multiple school records. He then went on to win three Super Bowls in 12 seasons with the Cowboys.
The younger Irvin has played in all three games for Auburn this season, registering 10 tackles and two passes deflected.
Auburn’s entire defense has struggled through three games. Opponents are averaging 442 yards of total offense.
Michael Irvin sided with his nephew this time around, but after this he may not be betting on Auburn again.
