A day after announcing his final five, Lyndell Wilson confirmed to SEC Country he will be taking an official visit to each of his top schools in the coming months.
The top-rated outside linebacker in this year’s recruiting cycle will officially visit Florida, Alabama, UGA, LSU and USC though dates have not yet been finalized.
Wilson postponed his commitment date earlier in the week, citing possible future head coaching changes as the main reason behind his decision. He later conceded to SEC Country on Tuesday that he wanted to wait until he knew where Kirby Smart would end up.
On Thursday, just a few days after reports surfaced of Smart’s imminent move to Athens, Ga., Wilson included the Bulldogs among his top schools.
As it stands, Florida leads for the 6-foot-2, 220-pound senior from Montgomery, Ala., followed by Alabama, LSU, USC and UGA.
