Florida State has been known for falling behind in games, only to roar back and win it in the second. But the Seminoles might be in real trouble today against Louisville.
The Seminoles currently trail 35-10 at Louisville. The Seminoles were trailing 28-6 against Ole Miss earlier in the year, before coming back to win the in the second half.
But Florida State has yet to slow down quarterback Lamar Jackson. The Louisville quarterback has over 180 passing yards and 94 yards on the ground. The sophomore has accounted for 4 first half touchdowns, with three coming on the ground.
For the Seminoles, running back Dalvin Cook has just 45 yards at half while quarterback Deondre Francois has only 70 yards passing. Florida State is without star defender Derwin James, who had knee surgery earlier this week.
A loss would not help the Seminoles chances of making it back to the College Football Playoff. And Jameis Winston isn’t in uniform or on the sidelines to help rally Florida State.
With Louisville making plays like this, a comeback could be hard to pull off.
Lee Corso liked that https://t.co/UuJmh2XW3Y

Even Lee Corso is surprised by the play and the current results. Corso did pick Louisville to knock off the Seminoles. Corso played for Florida State but he also was a head coach at Louisville. Corso did correctly pick that Tennessee would knock off Virginia Tech last week.
The two teams are currently playing on ABC.
