No. 15 Texas A&M (5-1) travels east this Saturday for an in-conference showdown with No. 24 Ole Miss (5-2), and several recruits will be tuning in. SEC Country polled a handful of commits and targets from both programs for their prediction of this weekend’s highly anticipated contest.
Tate Martell, QB, Bishop Gorman, Nev. (committed to Texas A&M) — “It’ll be a good game. If we can execute offensively then we should win. 35-24, Aggies.”
Chandler Tuitt, OL, Sandy Creek High School, Ga. (committed to Ole Miss) — “Man, I don’t know this week, it depends on if we come and show up to play. We really haven’t been playing as hard as we did in the Alabama game. But if we play like last week, it’s going to be a close game. If we play like we did against Alabama, it’s going to be a blowout.”
Malcolm Askew, ATH, McAdory High School, Ala. (undecided) — “Ole Miss, 35-21. They’re at home and they know they have to bounce back from that upset.”
David Marshall, DE, Upson-Lee High School, Ga. (Undecided) — “It’s going to be a tough game for Ole Miss because of what happened last week against Memphis. But I think Ole Miss will pull it out in the second haf.”
Donta Evans, LB, Archer High School, Ga. (committed to Ole Miss) — “Both teams are coming off of some tough losses. So, it’s going to be a dogfight, but Ole Miss will get the win, 41-24.”
Tre Shaw, WR, Cedar Grove High School, Ga. (Undecided) — “I’m going with Ole Miss.”
Jack DeFoor, OL, Calhoun High School, Ga. (committed to Ole Miss) — “Laremy (Tunsil) is back. C.J. Johnson is back. I’m thinking we have a really good shot to turn the season back in the right direction. 38-24, Ole Miss.”
