Four-star defensive end Chase Young has garnered a ton of interest during his recruitment.
So on Tuesday, Young reduced his list of schools from 42 to 15, and five SEC schools made the cut.
Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU and Florida are all still in contention for Young, who made his announcement on Twitter Tuesday night.
Young is rated as the No. 52 player in the country and the No. 4 weakside defensive end in the Class of 2017, The Hyattsville, Md., native is the No. 2 player in the state.
The race is on to land one of the top defensive prospects in the country. One thing is for sure: It will be a contested battle.
