One of the top running back recruits in the Class of 2017 has released his top five schools and two SEC schools made the cut.
Five-star all-purpose tailback D’Andre Swift listed Alabama and UGA, along with Florida State, Clemson and local school Penn State in his top five. Swift revealed his list on Twitter Wednesday night.

The Philadelphia native is rated as the No. 31 prospect overall and the top all-purpose back nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Swift ran for 1,029 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 321 receiving yards and four touchdown catches last season for St. Joseph’s High School.
Penn State could hold the largest advantage if location is a factor in Swift’s decision. Some pundits believe the Nittany Lions are the favorites to land the tailback.
The battle is officially on for one of the top offensive players in this entire recruiting class.
