Alabama and Mississippi State will kick off at either 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS) or 7:15 p.m. ET (ESPN or ESPN2) on Nov. 14 in Starkville. The SEC is expected to make its decision this weekend after exercising a six-day exemption.
The No. 7 Crimson Tide and No. 24 Bulldogs are set for a ranked matchup in 12 days, but both need to take care of business this week.
‘Bama has No. 4 LSU at home, while MSU travels to Missouri for a Thursday night game.
Both teams were highly ranked when they played in Tuscaloosa last November. No. 4 Alabama won 25-20 to ruin No. 1 Mississippi State’s perfect season.
This year, the Bulldogs still have an outside shot at the SEC West title, but they would need to win out and get some serious help. Alabama can win the West if it wins out and Ole Miss drops one of its final three conference games.
