In order to get Weaver’s signature, the Tigers and Gators will have to fend off the likes of 2016 national champion Villanova and perennial national powers UCLA, Virginia and Butler, among others.
Weaver is ranked as the 31st best player in the class of 2018, according to 247Sports. He stands 6’4 and plays his high school ball for Oldsmar Christian School in Oldsmar, Fla. 247’s crystal ball currently has Villanova as the favorite for his services.
