Paul Finebaum shared a fascinating comment about the SEC’s coaching landscape.
On Saturday, the noted ESPN analyst used Twitter to say that “it is difficult to remember a day in recent SEC history when this many head coaching positions are hanging by a thread.” It came after Saturday-morning drama involving Florida coach Jim McElwain and rumors about work toward a possible buyout. That development followed Arkansas coach Bret Bielema and Tennessee coach Butch Jones entering the day on thin ice with struggles by their respective teams this season.

Finebaum is right. The coaching situation for multiple SEC programs seem to be shifting at the moment.
We’ll find out in time what will happen at Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee and elsewhere. But there’s no lack of drama at the moment.
