Neither Tennessee or Florida shined offensively in the first half, as the teams combined for just 9 points. Florida does hold the 6-3 lead at the half.
But Paul Finebaum ripped into both teams at halftime, calling their offensive ineptitude.
“The first half to Tennessee-Florida may have set college football back 50 years,” Finebaum tweeted.

Florida ran for just 35 yards on 17 carries against a Tennessee defense that gave up over 500 rushing yards to Georgia Tech in week 1. The Gators have still not scored an offensive touchdown this season. Quinten Dormady of Tennessee meanwhile has just 83 yards passing on 18 attempts and an interception.
Last year’s game looks like a Big 12 game in comparison, as the final score was 38-28. Hopefully the two teams find the end zone in the second half and make for a more compelling game.
