There are lots of ways to measure fandom, and merchandise sales are one of the more commonly used methods.
Darren Rovell tweeted out a map Thursday of the most popular ranked college football team in each state based on eBay sales. The team in the current Associated Press Top 25 that sells the most merchandise on eBay in a state wins that state.

Of the eight SEC teams in the top 25, five are represented on the map: No. 1 Alabama, No. 15 Tennessee, No. 16 Georgia, No. 19 Ole Miss and No. 20 LSU, all of which won their home state. Alabama and LSU both have multiple states.
The other ranked SEC teams (No. 17 Texas A&M, No. 23 Florida and No. 24 Arkansas) were beat out by other teams. The Aggies lost out to in-state rival Texas, LSU claimed Arkansas and Florida State won Florida.
