President Donald Trump is in Atlanta for the National Championship Game, but his presence hasn’t come without protest.
Perhaps most notably, protesters appear to have projected the message “F— Trump” onto the front of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
It’s far from the only negative reaction of the night. First, Trump’s arrival caused serious delays for fans trying to enter the stadium. Then, an Alabama player was caught on video yelling “F— Trump” as the Tide took the field before kickoff.
The president was a part of a nice moment on the field prior to kickoff during the national anthem.
Trump was expected to do a radio interview during the first half on Alabama’s Radio Network, but he did not do so.
Georgia took a 13-0 lead into halftime, shutting out Alabama for the first time since 2007.
