The sophomore game at the Georgia Junior Sophomore Elite Classic at McEachern High School on Tuesday was a lopsided affair. Buford running back Anthony Grant was a big reason why.
Grant broke out to the tune of 165 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries, while leading the American team to a 38-3 victory over the National squad in the showcase game that pits some of the top players in the state against each other.
SEC Country caught up with Grant after his dazzling performance to get to know the talented back.
