The second weekend of SEC baseball conference play isn’t complete and every team has at least one loss in the league after Saturday’s results.
Luke Jarvis went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBIs as Auburn beat Georgia 4-1 on Sunday, March 26, to take the 3-game series 2-1. Also, Arkansas dealt Missouri its second loss of the series, slowing down the Tigers who entered the series riding a 20-game winning streak. Also, Mississippi State earned its first three league wins with a 3-game sweep against Tennessee.
On Saturday, Georgia picked up its first win in the SEC by handing Auburn its first loss and Missouri dealt Arkansas its first loss one day after the Razorbacks stopped the Tigers’ 20-game winning streak.
On Sunday, March 26, several teams look to complete 3-game sweeps. Florida aims to sweep LSU in Baton Rouge, while South Carolina, Mississippi State and Vanderbilt also hold 2-game advantages entering Sunday’s final games.
