Despite standing just 5’10, 2018 point guard Alex Lomax has basketball programs from across the SEC — and across the country, for that matter — clamoring for him to come play for them.
On Monday, Lomax took the next step in making his final college decision, narrowing down his list of offers to his top ten schools. Included in that group are five schools from the SEC: Ole Miss, Missouri, Florida, Vanderbilt and LSU:

A three-star according to 247Sports, Lomax is already a two-time winner of Tennessee’s Mr. Basketball award — he hails from Memphis — as he heads into his senior season.
At this point in time, 247’s Crystal Ball predicts Lomax to stay at home and play for Tubby Smith’s Memphis Tigers, but with the turmoil currently surrounding that program — several of the Tigers’ top players recently transferred — it remains to be seen whether Lomax sees that as a legitimate destination.
