SEC Championship odds: Alabama leads, Florida pulls even with LSU
With the college football regular season heading into the final month, sportsbook.ag has updated its future odds on who will win the SEC Championship game.
Alabama (5/4), Florida (11/4), LSU (11/4), Ole Miss (9/2) and UGA (5/1) continue to have the best odds to win the conference, according to sportsbook.ag.
The only difference from a week ago is Florida has pulled even with LSU and Ole Miss has jumped ahead of Georgia. But a lot of that is likely in anticipation of this weekend’s action.
Florida and Georgia will clash in the marquee SEC game Saturday, with the winner holding a huge edge for the right to represent the East Division in Atlanta at the SEC Championship game. The most-anticipated matchup and the one most believe will determine the SEC champion comes Nov. 7 when West Division frontrunners LSU and Alabama meet in Tuscaloosa. Ala.
The Crimson Tide improved their chances slightly in the oddsmakers eyes last week when they pulled out a close win over Tennessee. Ole Miss remained in the SEC West title hunt by defeating Texas A&M, 23-3, on Saturday. The Rebels, the only team with a win over Alabama, must take care of business when they travel to Auburn on Saturday.
