After claiming its fifth national title under Nick Saban, Alabama found itself atop multiple “way-too-early” polls over the last 24 hours. It’s understandable. A freshman quarterback took over in the second half, a freshman running back carried the load in the backfield, a freshman left tackle took over for an injured all-league player and a freshman receiver caught the game-winning touchdown pass in overtime.
You’ve heard this before: Alabama doesn’t rebuild, it reloads.
