Every Sunday, SEC Country will unveil its offensive and defensive recruits of the week based on their weekend performance. In order to qualify, recruits must have at least two SEC offers. This week’s SEC Country Defensive Recruit of the Week honors goes to Derrick Brown, the No. 1 recruit in Georgia.

“Derrick continues to play with dominance every Friday night,” said Korey Mobbs, coach at Lanier. “The best part about him is that he makes others around him better.”
