Every Sunday, SEC Country will unveil its offensive and defensive recruits of the week based on their weekend performance. In order to qualify, recruits must have at least two SEC offers. This week’s SEC Country Defensive Recruit of the Week honors goes to Tre Threat, a 3-star linebacker and Auburn commit from Spanish Fort, Ala.
SEC Country’s Defensive Recruit of the Week: Tre Threat
In Alabama’s Class 6A quarterfinals, Tre Threat had an all-around defensive performance. The Auburn commit even flashed at tight end in Spanish Fort’s heavy run package, according to AL.com’s Ben Thomas, as the Toros knocked off Opelika 21-13.

Elysee Mbem-Bosse, LB, Cedar Grove High School, Ga. (Undecided) — Mbem-Bosse, a 4-star prospect according to Rivals.com, registered six tackles, one for loss and one fumble recovery in Cedar Grove’s 28-14 win versus Oconee County.
Nigel Knott, CB, Germantown High School, Miss. (Undecided) — Knott, the No. 5 cornerback in the country, returned an interception 80 yards for a touchdown to give Germantown a late lead in the fourth quarter against Oxford, though Knott’s team ultimately fell 40-33.
Antwuan Jackson, DT, Cedar Grove High School, Ga. (Undecided) — One of the top defensive tackles in the country, Jackson registered 11 tackles, four tackles for loss and one forced fumble in Cedar Grove’s 28-14 win against Oconee County.
Other notes: Alabama commit Xavier McKinney (DB) recorded six tackles in Roswell’s (Ga.) 34-15 win over Camden County … 4-star athlete Jamyest Williams recorded the game-saving tackle in the waning minutes of Archer’s (Ga.) playoff game versus McEachern.
