It’s hard enough to see the field as a freshman in the SEC, nonetheless be honored as one of the conference’s best.
On Thursday, 26 first-year SEC players did just that as they were named to the 2016 SEC All-Freshman team.
Missouri led the way with a league-leading four Tigers freshmen being honored. Missouri’s Jonathan Johnson earned two selections (All-purpose athlete and return specialist).
The team was voted on by the SEC’s 14 head coaches, who could not vote for their own players.
