There’s a battle brewing in the SEC. And it has nothing to do with anything that will happen on the field this coming season.
This battle is of the rap variety.
So that got us to thinking — which talented back would win in a freestyle rap battle? But we didn’t stop there. Given that the SEC has plenty of illustrious history as a conference, we wanted to incorporate some past players who also took their turns on the mic.
Former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly made a rap song about himself while he was a recruit. And former Missouri safety William Moore released a couple songs and further made a name for himself during “Freestyle Fridays” while he played for the Atlanta Falcons.
In a final four of sorts, one semifinal matches up the former standouts, and the other puts the two current backfield stars against each other.
Below give a listen to the tracks by each of the players. Then let us know on our Facebook and Twitter pages who would rap in your final battle and then which SEC player would emerge as the ultimate champion. (Warning: songs may include some inappropriate language).
