SEC Nation, the popular weekly kickoff show that airs every Saturday during college football season on SEC Network, has announced its destination for Week 1 of 2017. The crew will be live at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 2 for a season-opening matchup between Florida and Michigan.
The show will have a new guest analyst for its first edition of the season — former LSU coach Les Miles, who was also a player and coach at Michigan. There will be an in-depth story on one of Miles’ former running backs, LSU’s Derrius Guice, reported by new host Laura Rutledge. Tim Tebow, Paul Finebaum and Marcus Spears return to the show.

Miles won’t be the only former SEC coach to make an appearance on the show. Former South Carolina and Florida coach Steve Spurrier will be among the show’s other guests for Week 1.
The special 3-hour edition (9 a.m.-noon ET) of the show will only be the second time it has aired from a neutral-site city during the regular season, and the first time it will be opening the year from one. SEC Nation is entering its fourth season.
“Like all SEC fans, we’ve been counting the days until the return of football, and we have a show worthy of bridging the final few hours until kickoff,” ESPN coordinating producer Tom McCollum said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be at one of the very best opening weekend games and excited to see Laura, Les, Lauren and our all-star set of analysts in action.”
