With less than three weeks until the first telecast of the college football season, SEC Network has its commentator crews all lined up.
On Friday, the network unveiled its assignments for Week 1, which will include four games on the SEC Network.
Here’s a quick look at the lineup:
The network’s “A-team” of Brent Musburger, Jesse Palmer and Laura Rutledge will handle Thursday night duties in Knoxville, where the Vols will kick off what could be a special season against an Appalachian State program which won 11 games in 2015. The game will compete for ratings with South Carolina at Vanderbilt, which is the league’s conference opener to be aired on ESPN the same evening.
Dave Neal, who has long been the “early game” play-by-play voice for the SEC, draws Mississippi State for his opening week assignment alongside Matt Stinchcomb and Olivia Harlan.
