HOOVER, Ala. — Double-dipping has become a Week 1 tradition for SEC Nation.
For the third consecutive year, the SEC Network’s football pregame show will make two stops during Week 1 of college football season.
The show will make its 2016 debut in Knoxville, Tenn. on Thursday, Sept. 1 for the Vols’ opener against Appalachian State. The Vols will play at 7:30 p.m. on the SEC Network, and SEC Nation is set to go on the air at 6 p.m.
Tennessee gets the nod over Vanderbilt and South Carolina, which will play on that same day in Nashville.
On Saturday, Sept. 3, SEC Nation will be in College Station for Texas A&M’s opener against UCLA. The Saturday show will air at its normal timeslot from 10 a.m. to noon.
SEC Nation will feature a new desk that includes Maria Taylor as host, and Laura Rutledge reporting. Tim Tebow, Marcus Spears and Paul Finebaum all return for their third season with the program.
Former host Joe Tessitore and analyst Greg McElroy have moved to different assignments within ESPN’s college football coverage.
