With signing day less than a month away, the heat is getting turned up on many uncommitted prospects as schools attempt to finish out their 2017 classes strong. Once such prospect is WR Racey McMath, of New Orleans, who took to Twitter on Friday to announce his top three schools, all of which play in the SEC West:
My Top 3 Schools
1) Texas A&M
3) Mississippi State
— AG (@raceymcmath) January 6, 2017
A 3-star prospect from Edna Karr high school, McMath is currently predicted to stay home and play for LSU by 247Sports’ crystal ball predictions, but if these schools are listed in order of preference, then perhaps Texas A&M is the team to beat for his services. And, of course, Mississippi State is lurking as potential landing spot as well.
Regardless, it appears that McMath definitely will sign and play for an SEC West school next season. Now it’s just a matter of whittling that list down to one.
