As one of the top recruits in America, defensive end K.J. Henry has been recruited not just by schools across the SEC, but across the country.
In that sense, he is abnormal. Only a select few players get that type of attention. But just like any other recruit — or any other high school upperclassman fortunate enough — Henry ultimately has to narrow down his choices of potential schools.
Wednesday, Henry took the first step toward selecting where he’ll play college football by releasing a list of his top 10 schools on Twitter. Included are three SEC programs: Alabama, South Carolina and Georgia.

According to 247Sports, Henry is a 5-star player and the 20th-best prospect in the 2018 recruiting class. He hails from Clemmons, N.C., a Winston-Salem suburb where he plays for West Forsyth High School. Henry’s father is running backs coach for UNC Charlotte.
