Former Clemson defensive tackle Scott Pagano is on the transfer market, and after 18 hours, there is no shortage of interest.
According to 247Sports’ Ryan Bartow, Pagano has been contacted by 32 teams since announcing his transfer Friday. Included in that mix is LSU, Washington, Arizona State, Kentucky, Charlotte, North Carolina, Cal, Temple, Oklahoma State, FIU, FAU, East Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Nebraska, Maryland, Ole Miss, Utah State, Arkansas, Louisiana Tech, Texas A&M, Oregon, USC, Louisville, Oklahoma, Memphis, Ohio State, Baylor, Notre Dame, SMU, Purdue and Hawaii.
Pagano played in 12 games (4 starts) last season, collecting 20 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. The 6-foot-4, 295-pound defensive tackle graduated from Clemson in December, and plans to visit several programs before enrolling in May, according to Bartow.
He has one year of eligibility remaining and will be able to play right away.
Pagano is listed as the 2018 NFL Draft’s No. 7 defensive tackle prospect, according to CBS Sports.
