The Elite 11 quarterback regional camps wrapped up this past weekend for the top high school quarterback prospects in the country. Only the top 24 quarterbacks who participated in these camps would get an invite to represent their position group at the next level.
The final invitations were sent out Monday. The final group of quarterbacks, as compiled by 247Sports, will gather in Los Angeles for a skills session, instruction and practice in June. The best performers will get invited to Nike headquarters in July for a final camp and skill session.
Among the 24 finalists, there are seven quarterbacks currently committed to SEC schools. That is easily the most of any conference. The Big Ten and Big 12 each have four commitments representing them at the Elite 11 Finals.
These are the best quarterbacks in the class of 2017.
The group is led by Georgia commit Jake Fromm, the third-best pro-style quarterback in the country according to 247Sports. Dual-threat quarterbacks Tua Tagovailoa, who is committed to Alabama, and Lowell Narcisse, an LSU commit, also made the cut.
Florida commitment Jake Allen, Kentucky commitment Mac Jones, LSU commitment Myles Brennan and Texas A&M commitment Connor Blumrick will also make the trip to Los Angeles this month.
