Everyone gets in on SEC rivalries — even Smoothie King.
A Smoothie King store took a jab at Florida quarterback Will Grier, who has been suspended the rest of the season for use of performance enhancing drugs.
“Try one of our enhancers,” the Smoothie King’s sign read. “Only 99 cents and 100 percent legal.”
Grier led the No. 8 Gators to a surprising 6-0 record that included a win over then-No. 3 Ole Miss. He threw for 1,204 yards, 10 touchdowns and three interceptions in his first season as Florida’s starting quarterback.
The store appears to be located around LSU, as the sign read “LSU Football Saturday” on the top. The Tigers will be facing the Grier-less Gators this weekend in a battle of undefeated SEC powers in Death Valley. It will be the fourth consecutive week the Tigers have faced a backup quarterback. The Gators will likely start sophomore quarterback Treon Harris.

UPDATE: Smoothie King later reached out to SEC Country over Twitter to say that this statement does not reflect the franchise’s brand, but that some stores do show their loyalty.
