No. 11 Florida (8-1, 6-1 SEC) heads to South Carolina (3-6, 1-6 SEC) this Saturday for a conference showdown, and several recruits will be tuning in. SEC Country polled a handful of commits and targets from both programs for their prediction of this weekend’s much-anticipated contest.
Check them out below:
Pete Leota, OT, Asheville, N.C., committed to South Carolina: “I’m going to call the upset against Florida. I really believe heavily in coach Shawn Elliott. His guys believe in him and they know they have to win over Florida to at least give their head ball coach a chance to get the job for many years to come.”
Chris Smith, CB, Rock Hill, S.C., committed to South Carolina: “17-14, South Carolina.”
Will Putnam, OT, Harrisburg, N.C., committed to South Carolina: “I think South Carolina is tired of losing all the close games. They pull this one out, 24-21.”
Jeawon Taylor, DB, Montgomery, Ala., committed to Florida: “31-7, Florida. Treon (Harris) and the offense click and have a big game. The defense continues to dominate.”
Kelvin Harmon, WR, Palmyra, N.J., committed to South Carolina: “34-28, South Carolina.”
