Steve Spurrier seems to have come to a decision on who he is rooting for.
According to Pat Dooley of the Gainesville Sun, Spurrier called the longtime reporter to let him know he was pulling for Florida to pull off the win. But he added, “If South Carolina wins, I won’t be too disappointed.”

Spurrier said on Twtiter on Saturday that he was pulling for the SEC East when former South Carolina WR Pharoh Cooper asked him who he was pulling for. Spurrier was the head coach at both schools. This isn’t the first time Spurrier has had to pick between two schools he coached at. Spurrier was the head coach at Duke as well, and the Gamecocks and Blue Devils met earlier in the tournament. The Gamecocks came away with a win.
The Gators and Gamecocks are playing on CBS. The two teams split their regular season meetings.
