T-shirts for sale in a Dillard’s department store in Oxford, Alabama, depict the kind of error that could get the blood boiling in fans of several SEC schools.
The shirts show the Alabama and Auburn logo displayed over the cutout image of a state and could be attractive to anyone unfamiliar with geography and the state of Alabama on a map. The state in the background is actually Mississippi.
We’re guessing the citizens of Mississippi and the fans of the two SEC schools in that state won’t be happy with the Alabama and Auburn names and logos stamped over their state either.

It’s unclear if the T-shirt is actually made by Dillard’s or if it’s the product of another company and simply being sold by the store. Regardless, it’s a classic goof by the maker and by the retailer for not noticing it until it reached public view.
Clint Richardson, an Auburn fan who runs the site auburnuniforms.com, said his girlfriend saw a picture of the T-shirt on Facebook and shared it with him. He then shared it on Twitter.
