Three of the SEC’s premier programs received a bit of good news Saturday evening.
Grant Delpit, a four-star safety from Lamar High School (Houston), tweeted out his top 10 schools Saturday, which included Alabama, LSU and Florida.
TOP 10 Schools. Thank you to every school who has given me the opportunity to attend their university! pic.twitter.com/RD5Oo8XZPd

Earlier in April, the 6-foot-3, 185-pound safety told SEC Country that a trip to Baton Rouge had earned LSU the role of frontrunner.
“LSU would probably be at the top of the list,” Delpit informed SEC Country. “It’s nothing really specifically that they do, but it’s just a good feeling that when I go there, it feels so familiar.”
There is still plenty of time for another program to land atop Delpit’s list, however. With three of the most talented SEC programs in his top 10, his recruitment should be an exciting one.
Delpit is rated as the nation’s No. 15 safety and the No. 27 prospect in the state of Texas for the Class of 2017, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
