This creamy and spicy artichoke guacamole can start off your tailgate party the right way!
Here is this week’s “The Flavor of Football” recipe made with Texas Pete® Garlic Hot Sauce.
1/8 cup Texas Pete® Garlic Hot Sauce
2 cups avocado pulp
1 cup artichokes, canned, drained well, minced
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
Juice of 1 lemon, freshly squeezed
2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients in a medium-size mixing bowl and mix well.
Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated until ready to use.
Serve with Green Mountain Gringo® Corn Strips, pita chips, bagel chips or any of our favorite chip selections. Use it as a spread for sandwiches and bagels. Use it as a dip for garden-fresh vegetables.
